'My current practice reflects on atmospheres, the evocation of place and the resonance of past events that have occurred within that space. My approach attempts a double effect through the use of a static camera and carefully selected shots to dispel the presence of the filmmaker and therefore dissolve the boundary between the spectator and the recorded space. These works also reflect on the relationship between the surface of the screen and the illusory space of the image through the selection of often elemental, textural or abstract forms and the play of light'.

'Other areas of my practice and research revolve around the relationships between film and memory.  Specifically both the effects of the integration of lens-based media on memory and the way in which moving images can reflect these effects'.
